BEACHES~TORQUAY
HOLIDAY RENTAL
ABOUT
Beaches Torquay is a privately owned home we enjoy renting to people who wish to enjoy the delights of the English Riviera. The house is located in an enviable position on the seafront with promenade walking directly to the marina, harbour and town centre.
There is a bus stop located on the roadside outside the development and the main Torquay train station is less than half a mile away.
Walking distance to Preston, Torquay, Paignton or take the coastal walk all the way to Brixham and beyond. With a 15 minute stroll along the seafront, you will be at all the main attractions, restaurants, marina, harbour, bars, the big wheel (selected months) and shopping plus Torquay theatre which also shows fantastic London shows in the Summer season.
Walk a little further from Torquay harbourside and you will find lovely beaches of Meadfoot and further on toward Babbacombe and Maidencombe. The South West Coastal Path runs along the entire route and passes by Thatcher Rock and Hopes Nose, along the way.

With conservervation at the top of all lists then the local zoos and in particular Paignton are recognised internationally as top of their game and worth supporting. A small zoo in Shaldon and wildlife exhibits such as Living Coasts are also worth a visit.
Fabulous Beaches
The area is known for its safe beaches with a great selection depending on what you want. Gentle sloping with calm waters or something more focussed on rock fishing. We have it all. Stretching from Broadsands, through Abbey Sands to Oddicombe.
Too much to mention
